Product Recalls

In 2019, 59 children’s products were the subject of recalls. As were 100’s of other products, including many food products. Not only were these recalls disconcerting due to the newly discovered dangers and potential for harm, but most manufacturers did not have a direct line of communication to consumers who owned their products to notify them about the recall. Therefore, in these and most recall cases, the onus is on consumers to find out about recalls and take action.
